site Dr Derek Robinson joins Scientific Updates' consultancy team after developing a new course for development chemists on Good Manufacturing Practices in Chemical Development |
| 1997 | Dr Laird is appointed editor of the new ACS/RSC journal Organic Process Research & Development and the 1st International conference Organic Process Research and Development is held in San Francisco. |
| 1998 | Scientific Update expands through acquisition of Spring Innovations conference business. Three new courses launched, Separation Technology for Organic Chemists, and Basic Organic Chemistry for Chemical Engineers and Essential Aromatic Heterocyclic Chemistry |
