Terms of Business
Payments ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE EVENT DATE. Confirmation of your registration will be supplied initially on screen with a unique reference number. You will then receive further confirmation by email or fax and an invoice will be sent to you by post. For scheduled webinars a confirmation email will be sent together with your login information and password.
Substitutions/Cancellations Should you be unable to attend and cancel in writing no later than 28 days prior to each course, conference or symposium, Scientific Update will refund your registration less £300 processing fee. Unfortunately refunds are not possible after this date. Substitutions can be made at any time. Notwithstanding the above, Scientific Update reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations as it sees fit.
Webinars Cancellations and a full refund will be issued if a request is made by email no later than 28 days prior to each webinar. Substitutions can be made at any time. However you will need to contact us to confirm the replacement name and email to ensure they are issued a unique login.
The prices quoted for the scheduled webinars is strictly per person with each person attending having registered individually for the course. Multiple persons from one organisation are not permitted unless each person has registered or by special arrangement. For groups we offer tailored webinars which are designed to be delivered to groups and where a group password will be issued.
Late applications please register on line using the conference, course, webinar or special event link, email customer service or fax the completed registration form. Please include credit card payment information.
Venue/Accommodation You will be sent a hotel booking form with the event confirmation and you will be responsible for making your own arrangements.
Change of Details If you believe the contact information we hold on you is incorrect, needs updating or if you do not wish to receive any further information from us, please contact customer service by email or telephone +44 (0)1435 873062. As all literature is mailed at least three months in advance, you may experience a delay in the changing of your details.
if you have chosen to register to receive information from us by email or used the registration process, you can amend your details simply by logging in using the quick login form at the bottom of each web page. You will need only your username and password to login.
Payment Details
Credit Card We accept American Express, Mastercard or Visa. A receipted invoice will be sent with confirmation of your registration and delegate information pack.
Cheque Please tick the appropriate box. An invoice will be sent for payment, in pounds sterling, drawn on a UK bank.
Cheques should be made payable to Scientific Update LLP.
Bank Transfer If you wish to pay by bank transfer please select this option from the drop down box provided or if using the brochure tick the appropriate box. Bank payment instructions will be provided with an invoice for payment, which should be in pounds sterling Any additional bank charges incurred must be paid by the participant's company. Bank details will be supplied with the invoice.
Payment in US Dollars On selected events only, you can choose to select payment in US Dollars. For payment in US Dollars the prevailing exchange rate will apply at the point of invoice.
Currency On all event pages we have provided a convenient currency converter which can be used to calculate the fees into your local currency. These are linked to an approved exchange rate mechanism and will vary throughout the day. The prevailing currency rate which may vary will be used at the point of purchase.
