The Contemporary Strategies in Organic Synthesis training course is presented by a group of talented, enthusiastic, academics from European Universities. The lectures focus on Contemporary Strategies in Organic Synthesis stressing the important literature in 2000-2009 and highlighting those, which will be of importance to chemists in industry.
This course is intensive, but in a relaxed informal atmosphere which makes for an enjoyable course.
The comprehensive course manual, containing copies of all the material presented, enables maximum literature coverage with the minimum of note taking required. Extensive references are also included for future reference. The tutorials are designed to enhance the lecture material by application to problems in organic synthesis.

- This course complements the Synthesis and Methods course with minimal overlap.

The Copthorne Tara Hotel is ideally located in a quiet corner of Kensington, within easy reach of the shops and restaurants of Kensington High Street and Knightsbridge. Directions:
The hotel is approximately 45 minutes by car or underground from Heathrow Airport. The nearest underground station to the hotel is Kensington High Street on the Circle & District Lines, then about 5 minutes walk.
The Heathrow Express train from Heathrow to London Paddington takes 20 minutes.
Alternatively, travel from Gatwick Airport by the Gatwick Express to London Victoria takes about 30 minutes, and travel from Stansted Airport by the Stansted Express to London Liverpool Street takes about 50 minutes.
