"Within AstraZeneca, Global Process Research and Development (GPR&D), we are committed to developing and supporting all staff within our organisation to achieve their full potential. This is a key part of our strategy to enable us to increase our productivity. However one issue that we've encountered is that staff are almost too busy to bother about CPD.

Working with Scientific Update we have identified a way to supplement Instructor Led Training capability development and maximize our short- and long-term investments with the introduction of Webinar training sessions, providing us with: greater flexibility; help us focus on specific training needs; benefit to reach a wide audience; ability to download the material post the event.

We have already run several 'live' short 1.5hr - 2hr sessions, across GPR&D including UK, Sweden, and Bangalore, receiving very positive feedback from our staff. There are several more sessions planned over the coming months and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Scientific Update in this new venture."
